THIBODAUX, La. – The Devilettes volleyball team traveled to Nicholls State to face the Colonels in a one game matchup. NSU was able to secure the win 3-0 (25-19, 25-23 and 25-14).

Neither set was a runaway matchup between the two teams, yet the Colonels were able to capitalize on the Devilettes' errors to walk away with the victory.

MVSU completed the contest with 33 kills and only 14 errors; thus, not making it an easy contest for the hosting Colonels. Nicholls stat line showed 42 kills and 12 errors – showing both teams were determined to overpower the other.

Both teams finished with three aces for the night.

Kalin Barnes completed the contest with 11 kills. Haley Buard and Joilyn Azore added eight and five respectively. Jaime Polk contributed 24 assists and 12 digs; while Nadia Crawford tallied 24 digs.
