MEMPHIS (Softball) – Day two of the University of Memphis 2018 Tournament, saw the Devilettes pitted against the Indiana State Sycamores. The contest ended 9-1, in favor of Indiana State.

Indiana State 9, Mississippi Valley State 1

In the top of the first, Mississippi Valley scored their only run of the contest. Ikeyia Alexander singled to left field to score Kennedy Lester.

The Sycamores scored once in the third, twice in the fifth and three times in the fifth and sixth. 

The Devilettes completed the contest with one run on five hits and four errors.

Mississippi Valley will wrap up the tournament on Sunday, March 11 at 10:45 am.
