MVSU Drops Game One to Bulldogs 7-2

HUNTSVILLE (Baseball) – The Delta Devils were unable to get their bats to ringing as the faced the Bulldogs of Alabama A&M University. In the first of three contests the Delta Devils fell 7-2.

AAMU started scoring in the first inning with two runs. In the top of the third, the Delta Devils cut the point deficit in half with one run scored.

The Bulldogs scored one run in the fifth, sixth, seventh and two in the eighth. Mississippi Valley scored one run in the top of the ninth.

The Delta Devils scored two runs on eight hits. AAMU scored seven runs on 15 hits and one error.
