ITTA BENA, Miss. – Mississippi Valley State women's soccer head coach Rohan Naraine has finalized the team's 2019 regular season schedule. The Devilettes will square off in 16 matches beginning in August and ending in early November.
"There are plenty of challenges this year, especially after losing five seniors, but we are ready and very excited for this season." Naraine said. "Our returners and newcomers are preparing to have a lot of success."

Playing a road heavy schedule this year, Valley will play its first five matches away from Itta Bena. The home slate kicks off Sept. 14th as the Devilettes host Green Bay.
SWAC season begins two weeks later with a Texas road swing. The Devilettes will then be home for two matches homecoming weekend, with a Thursday (Oct. 3) evening matchup against Grambling State followed by a Sunday (Oct. 6) afternoon showdown with Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
Soccer's last game at home will be the following Sunday (Oct. 13) against Alabama State, with the final four matches held on the road.
Some of the non-conference challengers on the schedule include Sun Belt Champion Little Rock and Conference USA finalist Southern Miss.
In 2018, the Devilettes finished the season at 5-9-4 with a mark of 2-5-3 in the SWAC.
