ITTA BENA, Miss. – On Saturday, May 4, Mississippi Valley State University held it's 67th Commencement. Among the graduates conferred degrees at the R.W. Harrison HPER Complex were 44 current and former student-athletes and staff.
Football saw 14 players receive degrees. This included Hall of Famer Parnell Dickinson, who received a Master's in Sports Administration.
Health, Physical Education and Recreation accounted for one-fourth of all degrees from athletics, followed by Natural Sciences and Environmental Health with nine.
40 received bachelor's degrees, with another four obtaining master's degrees. A full list of graduates is below.
