Itta Bena, Ms. Four players finished the game with double digit scoring outputs for The Devilettes, they each had 10 points respectively. Azaria Howard tallied a team high 7 rebounds to go along with her 10 points.

The Devilettes battled hard in the first half keeping the game close, with the halftime deficit only being 3 points.

In the third quarter The Jaguars scored 29 points to Mississippi Valley's nine. Turnovers and the points off of those turnovers proved to be the difference in the game.

Southern also had four players to finish the game with double digit scoring outputs, including a ten point and ten rebound performance by Taneara Moore.

The Devilettes are back in action this Saturday as they will travel to Texas Southern for a match-up against The Tigers. Tip-off set for 5:30 p.m.
