Prairie View, Tx.- Taylor Robinson led the Mississippi Valley Devilettes in total points as they fall to the Panthers of Prairie View A&M by a score of 81-47 in a Southwestern Athletic Conference matchup on Monday night.
Robinson finished the game with 11 points on four of seven shooting, and added six rebounds in 21 minutes of play.
The first quarter proved to be a tight matchup, but in the second quarter the Lady Panthers outscored the Devilettes by a score of 30 to nine.
As a team the Devilettes shot 33.3 percent from the field while Prairie View shot 49.2 percent. Mississippi Valley was one for 11 from the three point line and as a team the Panthers shot 44.4 percent.
Everyone that was in uniform for the Panthers scored at least two points. They were lead by Kennedi Heard who finished with 18 points and ten rebounds.
The Devilettes return to the R.W. Harrison HPER Complex on Saturday, February 1st as they will host Jackson State to continue conference play.
