Murray, KY – The Mississippi Valley State women's basketball team open the 2020-21 season with an 85-60 loss to the Murray State Racers on Tuesday night inside the CFSB Center.
How It Happened
- Junior guard Zakiya Mahoney played 31 minutes and closed with 13 points and seven rebounds.
- Nassau, Bahamas native Annya Moss came off the bench with a team high 16 points to go along with her four rebounds and one block.
- Valley veteran Diamond Wraggs finished with seven points and six rebounds.
- Ronni Williams played a team high 37 minutes and ended the game with five points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals.
- Devilettes shot 39.1 percent (25-64) from the field, 33.3 percent (2-6) from the three-point line, and 57.1 percent (8-14) at the free throw line.
