Delta State out Duels Delta Devils

Cleveland, Ms.- Mississippi Valley Delta Devils drop to 0-5 with a loss to Delta State on Wednesday afternoon. 

Angel Maldonado scored the teams only run in the 5th inning on a wild pitch. The Delta Devils had only two hits on 27 plate appearances. 

Senior Aaron Barkley tallied his second loss of the season by giving up two runs on five hits with two eras. 

The Delta Devils are on the road next week as they travel to Arkansas State for a two-game series.
