Itta Bena, Miss.-The Mississippi Valley State women's basketball team lose to the Lady Hornets of Alabama State by a score of 69-45 inside the R.W. Harrison HPER Complex on Tuesday afternoon.
 
How It Happened

• Zakiya Mahoney led the way for the Devilettes with 16 points to go along with her three rebounds and one assist.
• Diamond Wraggs returned to the lineup with with 11 points and seven rebounds.
• Da'Sha McGloster finished with eight points and one rebound.
• MVSU shot 29 percent (16-55) from the field, 14.3 percent (2-14) from the three-point line, and 78.6 percent (11-14) at the charity stripe.
