Itta Bena, Miss.- The Mississippi Valley State men's basketball team drop a tough conference battle to the Braves of Alcorn State by a score of 71-59 on Saturday evening on the campus of Alcorn State University.

How It Happened

• Treylan Smith led the way for the Delta Devils with 18 points and two rebounds.
• Terry Collins completed the game with 11 points, three rebounds and two assists.
• Freshman Leandre Howard finished the game with nine points and two rebounds.
• The Delta Devils ended the game with everyone in uniform in the scoring column.
• MVSU shot 37 percent (17-46) from the field, 30 percent (6-20) from the three-point line, and 73.1 percent (19-26) at the charity stripe.
