Itta Bena, MIss.- The Mississippi Valley State University baseball team announces the addition of three incoming student-athletes for the upcoming 2021 baseball season. Head Coach Aaron Stevens announced the signings of these three young men, which will give the Delta Devils additional depth in the infield and at the plate.
During this current pandemic, Coach Stevens would like to thank the Office of Admissions and the Valley Family along with the families, travel organizations and previous schools of each student athlete for their diligent and continued support during the recruiting process.

Chris Soeder

6'2" 225lbs
Corner-Infielder
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Soeder has Lived in Sarasota, Florida all his life.
Chris is currently a Senior at Sarasota High School where he has been part of the Sailor Baseball program all 4 years under Head Coach Clide Metcalf.
Diego Espada
6'1" 155lbs
Middle-Infielder
Born in Puerto Rico, Diego and his family moved to Sarasota, Florida in 2014. Diego is currently a Senior and has played for Florida International Baseball Academy his entire High School career under former MLB player/scout, Cliff Pastornicky.
Gustavo Gonzalez

5'10" 150lbs
Middle-Infielder
Born in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, Gustavo and family moved to Sarasota in 2016.
Gustavo is currently a Senior at Riverview High School and has been part the Rams baseball program as well as Florida International Baseball Academy.
