Devilettes Fall Short in Home Opener

Itta Bena, Miss.- The Mississippi Valley State women's basketball team fall short to the Lady Bulldogs of Alabama A&M by a score of 62-41 inside the R.W. Harrison HPER Arena on Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened
  • Annya Moss led the way for the Devilettes with 16 points to go along with her three rebounds and one assist.
  • Da'Sha McGloster finished the game with 9 points and two steals.
  • Annalise Brisco making her second start of the season completed the game with eight points, five rebounds and two assists.
  • The Devilettes bench outscored the Lady Bulldogs 16-to-0.
  • MVSU shot 35.7 percent (15-42) from the field, 57.1 percent (4-7) from the three-point line, and 63.6 percent (7-11) at the charity stripe.
