Valley Uses Two Fourth Quarter Touchdowns By Caleb Johnson To Defeat B-CU

 
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Mississippi Valley State football program spoiled Bethune-Cookman's homecoming and secured its first winning streak in nine years in a 20-14 triumph.

Jerry Garner only had two tackles in the game but they both made a negative impact on the Wildcats, accumulating two tackles for loss with one being a three-yard sack.
 
Andrew Bloodsaw contributed five tackles and an interception while Kenneth Martin matched Bloodsaw in the tackle department while breaking up two passes.
 
Datavious Porter was on the receiving end of Jalani Eason's touchdown toss and was the team's wideout leader at 41 receiving yards.
 
Caleb Johnson led a three-pronged rushing attack with 96 yards and two crucial fourth quarter touchdowns with the go-ahead score coming on a 14-yard scamper with 9:16 left in regulation.
 
Johnson was just the leader of the pack as Eason (56) and Dederrian Williams (53) crossed the half-century mark.
