ITTA BENA, Miss. – The Mississippi Valley State University football program will honor its 14 seniors/graduate students in a pregame ceremony prior to the Delta Devils regular season home finale versus Alabama State.

Senior Spotlight
 
Offense

• #8 Jarius Clayton (WR | Kemper, Mississippi | East Mississippi CC)
  • He is second on the team in both receptions (25) and receiving yards (213), scoring against Southern. Clayton's also been the team's lone punt returner, returning seven kicks for 40 yards.

• #13 Varandre White (TE | Detroit, Michigan | Fort Scott CC)
  • Made one catch for 20 yards in the victory over North Carolina Central.

• #16 Conor Regan (QB | Santa Maria, California | Ventura CC, Northern Colorado & Long Island)
  • He has thrown for 266 yards on the season while recording a passing touchdown last week at Alabama A&M, also has rushed for 34 yards.

• #68 Jonathan Irizarry (OL | Katy, Texas | Cisco CC & Wagner)
  • Has played in all nine games this season.

• #70 Joshua Taylor (OL | Philadelphia, Pennsylvania | Saint Francis-PA)
  • Has played in all nine games this season.
• #80 Dontea Jones (WR | Louisville, Mississippi | Mississippi Statet)
  • Has appeared in three games in 2021.
• #81 Travis Hines (WR | Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania | Temple)
  • Played in the win over North Carolina Central and the game versus Florida A&M.

Defense

• #6 Keonte' Daniels (DB | Noxapater, Mississippi | East Central CC)
  • Leads the team in total tackles (55) and solo tackles (36).

• #11 William Morgan (DB | Laurel, Mississippi | East Central CC)
  • He is sixth in the nation in fumble recoveries (2) and is one of only 65 FCS players with multiple while leading the team in pass breakups (7).

• #12 Volme Swanier (LB | Pass Christian, Mississippi | East Central CC)
  • Is top-60 in the FCS with an average of 1.1 tackles for loss per game while leading the defense with 10.5 tackles for loss.

• #20 Markell Gladney (DB | Jackson, Mississippi | Jackson State)
  • Has 44 tackles, four tackles for loss, two pass breakups, a sack, an interception, and a fumble recovery.

• #33 Jeremiah Caine (DL | Columbus, Mississippi | Coahoma CC & Tennessee State)
  • Has been invited to participate in five prospect showcases this offseason including the FCS National Bowl, HBCU Pigskin Showdown, Podyum All Star Bowl, Small College Showcase and Spirit of America Bowl. He leads the team in assisted tackles (22).

• #44 Terrance Williams (DL | Belzoni, Mississippi | Mississippi Delta CC)
  • Has nine tackles, four of which have gone for a loss plus a pass defensed.

• #92 Jerry Garner (LB | Chunchula, Alabama | W.P. Davidson HS)
  • Was named to the All-SWAC Preseason Team and All-SWAC Second Team in both 2019 and 2021, leading the defense with three quarterback hurries.
