JACKSON, Miss. – The Mississippi Valley State University volleyball program got its first set victory of the year at the beginning of the match but could not hold on in a three to one setback.

Chardea Berthelot was lethal at the service line for Coach Prince, engineering four aces on top of five kills and three digs.
 
Jelia Fullerton had her most well-rounded performance of the campaign, going for 11 digs and seven kills plus two service aces of her own.
 
Kiya Garza topped MVSU with 16 digs while Sydney Ross, Destini Banks, and Victoria Mallard all produced two blocks apiece.
