TAMPA, Fla. – The Mississippi Valley State men's basketball program's has officially finished its non-conference schedule as Wednesday evening's tilt at the University of South Florida has been canceled.
 
Head Coach Lindsey Hunter's squad was headed to the Yuengling Center for its third ever meeting with the Bulls sporting an unblemished record in the series, winning 85-81 in 1992-93 and again during the 2004-05 campaign (65-57).
 
The Delta Devils will now turn their attention towards conference play, where it will face Alabama State at home on Monday, January 3 at 4 p.m. following the women's contest which tips at 2 p.m. at the R.W. Harrison HPER Complex.
