Itta Bena, Miss.- The Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils drop a tough conference battle to the Braves of Alcorn State by a score of 70-56 on Saturday evening inside the R.W. Harrison HPER Complex.
How It Happened
Sophomore guard
Caleb Hunter led the Delta Devils in scoring with 17 points added by four assists and three rebounds.
Kam'Ron Cunningham and
Terry Collins both scored 13 points along with four rebounds respectively, with Collins adding two assists and one block.
The Delta Devils outscored the Braves 20-to-8 in fastbreak points and shot 50 percent (20-40) from the field, 45 percent (9-20) from the three-point line, and 53.8 percent (7-13) at the charity stripe.
