Itta Bena, Miss.- The Mississippi Valley State Devilettes have three in double figures as they come up short in a battle with the Lady Tigers of Texas Southern on Tuesday night inside the H&PE Arena in Houston Texas.
 
How It Happened

• Zakiya Mahoney scored a team high for the Devilettes with 14 points to go along with her eight rebounds and two steals.
• Annalise Brisco and Ronni Williams both ended the game with 11 points, with Williams grabbing five rebounds to Brisco's six.
• Annya Moss returned to the lineup with nine points and six rebounds.
• MVSU shot 41.3 percent (26-63) from the field, 11.1 percent (1-6) from the three-point line, and 56.5 percent (13-23) at the charity stripe.
