PRAIRIE VIEW, TX – On Thursday, Feb. 25^th, The Mississippi Valley State Devilettes reign supreme in the stand-off game against the Prairie View A&M Lady Panthers. The game was a close one, but the Devilettes didn't back down for one second ending the game with a 61-57 victory. 


How It Happened

• Zakiya Mahoney led the Devilettes with a tremendous 20 points, along with seven rebounds and one assist.
• Da'Sha McGloster followed up Mahoney with 17 points, four rebounds, and one block. 
• Annalise Briscoe chipped in eight points and six rebounds. 
• The Devilettes are in a three-way tie for the eighth spot in conference standings.
• The MVSU Devilettes shot 32.7% from the field (18-55), 36.4% from the three-point line (4-11), and 61.8% from the charity stripe (21-34). 

Next Up 

• The MVSU Devilettes play host against the Jackson State University Tigers on Sat. Feb 27, 2021. Tip-off will take place at 5:30 p.m. in the R.W. Harrison HPER Complex.
