STARKVILLE, MS. – The Devilettes traveled back to Mississippi State to challenge the Bulldogs again after their first encounter with them in the just two days prior.
The game started in favor of the Bulldogs, as they scored six points in the first three innings (6-0). Then the Devilettes came back and owned the fourth inning. Keisha White and Demi Slater each singled and White was able to score a point for the Devilettes on a wild pitch (6-1).
The bases are filled, and Demi Slater was able to score for the Devilettes on a hit that Jaylon Davis received by a pitch in the top of the fourth (6-2). The Bulldogs were able to score two points in both the fifth and sixth inning raising the score for them to (10-2).
Naomi Drake managed to single up the middle in the sixth inning making it a total of three hits for the Devilettes and the team also had six errors.
The Devilettes will return to the diamond next week on Friday, Mar. 5
th to face off against the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, AR.
