PINE BLUFF, Ark. – The Mississippi Valley State University women's soccer program will play its second Sunday morning matchup of the season when it invades the Lady Lions Den for an 11 a.m. kick.

MVSU is the fourth-most accurate shooting team in the Southwestern Athletic Conference, putting just over half of its 27 shots on-target (14-of-27, 51.9%).

McKenzie McCarthy continues to lead the nation in saves per game average with 10.38, is among the top-25 in the NCAA for total saves at 83, and her 75.5% save percentage is second-highest in the league.

The team's leading scorer, Bailee Washington, is one of two Devilettes among the conference leaderboards, ranking seventh in goals per match (0.25), eighth for points a game (0.63), and tenth for overall points (5). The freshman from Birmingham also tops the squad with a 75% shot accuracy rating and 0.38 shots-on-goal a contest while being the only multi-goal scorer plus notching one of the club's four assists.

The other lady from the Mississippi Delta who is among the best in the SWAC is Juliette Charriez, sliding in the back door to take the tenth and final slot regarding assists per game (0.14).
 
Scouting The Arkansas-Pine Bluff Lady Lions:
 
Pine Bluff is limping a bit, dropping its past two matches at Alabama State and a home match with Alcorn.
