ITTA BENA, Miss. – The Mississippi Valley State athletics program hosts Alcorn for soccer's Senior Day on Friday afternoon while baseball hosts a local community college to wrap up its fall schedule as football takes a break.
 
Friday, October 28:
 
It will be an emotional afternoon on the pitch as the Devilettes soccer team takes on Alcorn in the season finale for the ninth straight season as four senior players and one team manager will suit up one more time for the Green and White at 2 p.m.
 
Across Rosa Parks Street, the baseball team will begin play simultaneously versus Coahoma Community College as new Head Coach Milton Barney gets to evaluate his squad in live action for the final contest of the fall campaign before the winter workouts begin in earnest.
 
Sunday, October 30:
 
Volleyball will travel down to the Bayou for the final SWAC Round-Up of the year where it will face the remaining SWAC West opponents left on the docket, beginning with Texas Southern at 11 a.m., followed by Alcorn at 5 p.m. inside Clifford Seymour Gymnasium.
 
Monday, October 31:
 
A Halloween matinee rounds out the week for Head Coach Mariah Prince's volleyball program when they take on the host Lady Jags of Southern University at 1 p.m., leaving just enough time for candy or Halloween parties to begin on time back in Itta Bena.
