Scouting The Alcorn Lady Braves:
 
Third year head coach Kevin Larry has provided a swift turnaround to a downtrodden program, leading the Lady Braves to its most wins in a decade with a 5-8-3 record plus a .500 mark in SWAC play (3-3-2).
 
The ladies from Lorman are the fourth-most accurate team in the country at 56.7% and rank third in the conference regarding both points (3.38) and assists (0.88) per match.
 
Samara Nunn has been the captain of the offensive ship for Coach Larry, leading the league in both total assists (7) and assists average (0.44) while slotting fourth for shots-on-goal per game at 1.31.
 
It has been a collective effort scoring-wise for the Purple and Gold as 11 of the club's 21 position players have netted at least one goal, more than half of the roster (52.4%).
