COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Mississippi Valley State University men's basketball program raised many eyebrows in the Show Me State when they were down only three at halftime, but the Tigers used a 17-0 run to seize control and squash any hopes of a program-altering upset to win 83-62.

- Terry Collins went nuts once again with most of his damage coming in a 22-point first half in which he made four three-pointers. He finished the evening by tying his career-high of 27 points, which he set in Friday night's win over North Alabama, with five long range bombs and rebounds plus two assists.

- Alvin Stredic topped the team in both steals and assist with three apiece on top of nine points, five boards, and a 50% field-goal percentage.

- Michael Barber finished the evening with a game-best eight rebounds, fell one point shy of his second double-digit scoring outing at MVSU (9) as well as swiping a steal.

- Valley State claimed an unlikely victory in the rebounding department, winning the battle of the boards over the Tigers by a count of 39 to 32, its first positive turnover margin since early February of 2022.

The Green and White will spend Thanksgiving in Colorado, but first they will pay the United States Air Force Academy a visit the night before for a 5 p.m. central time tipoff versus the Falcons.
