- Gipson recorded his first double-double as a Devil with a season/game-high ten boards and 10 points while securing a season/team-best five assists on 40% shooting (4-of-10).
- Danny Washington had one of his best offensive efforts of the young season, dropping a tied for team-best 14 points while setting personal-highs for both field goals (5) and three-pointers (3). The East Mississippi Community College transfer shot 45.5% for the day (5-for-11) and 3-of-4 from distance (75%)
- Kadar Waller set a new career benchmark with four field goals made plus a season-best 12 points, making half of his eight shot attempts.
- Terry Collins kept his double-figure scoring streak intact, tying Washington for the team lead of 14 on top of a pair of steals.
- Ernest Minton was responsible for Valley's lone block, his fourth rejection of 2022-23.
Valley State will head to the Midwestern Plains, facing the Shockera of Wichita State in "The Roundhouse" on Tuesday, December 13 at 7 p.m. central time.
