Mississippi Valley State Overview:
Bailee Washington and
Ludesha Reynolds will look to build off its solid debuts in the season opener two weeks ago in which the pair of freshmen had two shots (one on-target) and three saves, respectively.
Veterans
McKenzie McCarthy and
Rahael Aka-Ety also had nice starts to the campaign as McCarthy logged seven saves while Aka-Ety launched a pair of shots including on on-goal against SUU.
McCarthy currently slots just outside the NCAA's top-ten goalkeepers, ranking 12th for saves per game (7.00).
Scouting The Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders:
The home club has yet to win over its first three games, getting shutout by North Florida (1-0) and #12 Ole Miss (4-0) before tying Belmont (1-1).
MTSU currently leads the league and is one of the top-25 least penalized teams in the nation with just six fouls committed per match while Hannah Suder's average of five saves a game is second only to Charlotte's Emily Keck in the C-USA.
So far, the only Blue Raiders goal has come off the foot of Kirstine Lykke, assisted by Eleanor Gough.
