- Ronnie Thomas feasted on the Govs' backfield, lighting up the stat sheet with a career-best 3.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, forcing his third career fumble, and knocking away his second career pass breakup on top of five tackles.
- Thomas was just a half-sack shy of being the first MVSU player to record three-plus sacks in an outing since Patrick Harbin Jr. who had 3.5 versus Grambling in 2017.

- Christopher Victor and Kalib Alexander both registered a quarterback hurry for the second straight game with Victor bringing down a personal-best five ballcarriers and collecting half-a-sack.

- Kenneth Martin tied a personal-high with a tied for team-leading seven tackles, joining Abdural Lee at the top of the team leaderboard in that category.

- Orlando Fernandez was a very busy man and put one of his best performances on display for the ESPN+ audience, tying a personal best with eight punts, falling five yards shy of his career-high (360) booming a pair over 50 yards, including a 67-yard bomb (two shy of career-long), and averaging 45 yards per boot.

- Deangelo Wagoner and Cameron Gardner accounted for half of the receiving corps' catches and 80% of its yards, hauling in four passes for 40 yards (10 yards per catch).

- UTEP transfer TJ Goodwin made his Delta Devil debut by playing all but one snap in the second half, rushing for a team-high 21 yards with an additional 16 yards on three completions through the air.
