ITTA BENA, Miss. – The Mississippi Valley State University athletics program recognizes football's Jacory Rankin and women's soccer's McKenzie McCarthy as the MVSU student-athletes of the week.
 
Rankin was the game's top targeted wideout, bringing down seven receptions for a team-best 73 yards including the Delta Devils' longest play from scrimmage on a 42-yard catch-and-run.
 
McCarthy played a spectacular game in goal for the Devilettes versus North Dakota, recording her 21st career double-figure saves outing (10) while allowing just one goal to fall just 15 minutes short of her first ever shutout performance.
