ITTA BENA, Miss. – The Mississippi Valley State University volleyball program went the first three weeks of the regular season traveling across the Sun Belt and finally got to play a home match on Sunday afternoon, dropping its first SWAC contest in straight sets, 3-0, to ASU.

• Chariah Mosby watched two serves hit the hardwood, her second multi-ace match in the past three appearances and contributed a pair of blocks.

 

• Chardea Berthelot led the Devilettes on both offense and defense with three kills and four digs plus a block.

 

• Destini Banks had a pair of blocks for the second straight game and Mikayla Lee was the top assister per usual, launching six helpers.

 
Notes
 

• The Green and White logged more blocks than its opponent for the third time in 2022, knocking down three attacks with the Lady Hornets only mustering two.
