ITTA BENA, Miss. – The Mississippi Valley State University athletics program recognizes volleyball's Mikayla Lee and football's Jayren Fox as the MVSU student-athletes of the week.
 
Each week, MVSU Office of Athletic Communications recognizes two student-athletes. This award recognizes student-athletes who have excelled in competition, in the classroom, and in the community over the past week, exemplifying the Championship Culture of MVSU.
 
Mikayla Lee, a sophomore setter from East St. Louis, Illinois, collected 60 assists, two aces, 17 digs, and three blocks in competition over the past week, and continues to be a leader on the floor.
 
Jayren Fox, a junior linebacker from Cordele, Georgia, tallied 12 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and one sack over the weekend. Fox is a general on the defensive side of the ball.

The Mississippi Valley State Devillettes will host Florida A&M University on Saturday November 4, 2023 at 12:00 PM.

Football:
The Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils will travel to Bethune-Cookman University Thursday November 2, 2023. Kickoff is scheduled for 6:30 PM and the game will be broadcasted on ESPNU.
