Mississippi Valley State Devilettes Face Tough Challenge Against Mississippi State

Mississippi Valley State University's women's basketball team faced a challenging night against in-state competition Mississippi State University, ultimately falling to a final score of 99-35 on a Friday night.

Despite the uphill struggle, the Devilettes displayed resilience and determination throughout the game. Sh'Diamond McKnight led MVSU with 11 points, four rebounds, and three steals. Sadie Williams contributed seven points, while Jaylia Reed and Aaliyah Duranham both made their presence felt, each ending the night with six points and five rebounds.

Facing tough competition, the Devilettes have gone head-to-head with five SEC teams during their non-conference schedule, showcasing their commitment to challenging opponents and growing as a team. The experience gained from competing against strong rivals is sure to be valuable as the season progresses.
