ITTA BENA, Miss. - The Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils (5-26, 4-13 SWAC) come up short to Alcorn Braves (17-12, 14-3 SWAC) inside the R.W. Harrison HPER Complex on Thursday evening, 70-60.
Three Delta Devils scored in the double digits.
Terry Collins was the leading scorer for MVSU, with 16 points. Tyronn Mosley contributed 15 points to the board, and Danny Washington added ten points. Collins and Mosley each collected four rebounds to give the Delta Devils a second chance at scoring against Alcorn.
Alvin Stredic and Ernest Minton each recorded eight points against the Braves. Minton managed to grab eight rebounds for MVSU.
Top Performers:
Terry Collins recorded 16 points, four assists, and two steals.
Tyronn Mosley recorded 15 points, four rebounds, four assists, and one steal.
Danny Washington recorded ten points, five assists, and three rebounds.
Alvin Stredic recorded eight points, four rebounds, two rebounds, and one assist.
Ernest Minton recorded eight points, six rebounds, one assist, and one block.
