HAMMOND, La.– The Mississippi Valley State Diamond Devils match up against Southeastern Louisiana on Wednesday evening at Pat Kenelly Diamond at Alumni Field. The first pitch set for 6:30 p.m.

The Diamond Devils' midweek game will air on ESPN+. 

As a team, the Diamond Devils are currently ranked in numerous categories in the league: stolen bases (1st)/nationally (2nd), stolen bases per outing (1st)/nationally (1st), sacrifice bunts (3rd)/nationally (27th), batting average (6th), home runs (6th), runs (7th), and hits (8th).

Individual Diamond Devils are also ranked in the league and nationally. 

Davon Mims leads the SWAC and the nation in stolen bases, with 25 total stolen bases. Narvin Booker follows, being nationally ranked 2nd in stolen bases while ranked 4th in the league, with 20 total stolen bases. Maury Weaver joins fellow Diamond Devils in stolen bases, as he is ranked 6th in the league and 56th nationally, with 12 total stolen bases. 

Hunter Stallings is currently ranked 4th in the league in victories, with three total victories. 

Booker is currently ranked 4th in the league and 48th nationally in on-base percentage (0.513). 

Davione Hull, Mims, and Weaver are currently tied in the league (8th) and nationally (97th) in sacrifice bunts, with a three total. In addition, Hull is currently ranked in the league (7th) and nationally (73rd) in sacrifice bunts per outing. 

Hull is also ranked in the SWAC (5th) and nationally (73rd) in triples (2). 

Victor Figueroa is currently ranked 7th in the league in batting average (0.375).

Jose Salazar-Ortega is currently ranked 9th in the league in saves (1).
