ITTA BENA, Miss. - Mississippi Valley State Athletics has selected softball sophomore Aulora Edwards as its Athlete of the Week for her recent performance.

 Edwards lead the Devilettes past Rust College Bearcats 22-3 on Tuesday afternoon at MVSU Softball Field. 

Edwards went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead the team in hits as she came to the ballpark and meant business. She drove in five on three hits to five on three hits. She also drove in runs on a double in the first and a double in the fourth.

Up Next for MVSU Devilettes:

The Devilettes will travel to Grambling State to compete against the Lady Tigers on Wednesday, April 19, at GSU Softball Complex. The first pitch is set for 2:00 p.m.
