ITTA BENA, MS. - Mississippi Valley State University first year Head Soccer Coach Kayleigh Lambrechts releases the 16-game schedule for the 2023 season which is highlighted by 11 home games that will be played inside Mississippi Valley Soccer Complex. This is Coach Lambrechts' first year at The Valley.
 
" I am excited to show our new identity. We have been putting in a lot of work I am looking forward to seeing our progress throughout the year and get some results down the road," said Head Coach Lambrechts. "This team has tons of potential and I can't wait to get on the field with them."

The Devilettes open the season at home with an exhibition game against Blue Mountain University (Aug. 11).
 
A three game road trip is followed against The Citadel (Aug. 18),  Mercer (Aug. 20), and Southern Mississippi (Aug. 26).
 
MVSU returns home to face Jacksonville State University (Sept. 7).

Southwestern Athletic Conference play begins with a four-game road trip with stops at Southern (Sept. 22), Jackson State (Sept. 24), Prairie View A&M (Sept. 29) and Texas Southern (Oct. 1). 
 
The next five games of the season will be played at home against Grambling (Oct. 6), Arkansas - Pine Bluff (Oct. 8), Alabama A&M (Oct. 13) and Alabama State (Oct. 15) with the regular season finale against Alcorn (Oct. 27).
 
The conference tournament is scheduled for November 2^nd-5^th to be hosted by Prairie View A&M in Prairie View, Texas. The winner of the SWAC's regular season title will receive the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
