ITTA BENA, MS - Mississippi Valley State University first year Head Volleyball Coach Assata Conway releases the 30-game schedule for the 2023 season which is highlighted by 8 home games that will be played inside R.W. Harrison HPER Complex.

The Devilettes open the season on the road to participate in the Crimson Tide Invitational hosted by the University of Alabama. Action in Foster Auditorium begins Friday, Aug. 25 as MVSU takes on the Crimson Tide (12:30 p.m.) and Mercer (3:30 p.m.) before concluding the tournament Saturday against Saint Louis University (11 a.m.)
 
MVSU returns to The Valley for the first two home games to face LeMoyne-Owen College (Sept. 1) and Lane College (Sept. 6)

Southwestern Athletic Conference play begins with a three-game road trip with stops at Jackson State (Sept. 22), Florida A&M (Sept. 30), and Bethune-Cookman (Oct. 1).
 
The conference tournament is scheduled for November 17^nd-19^th to be hosted by Prairie View A&M in Prairie View, Texas. The winner of the SWAC's regular season title will receive the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
