JACKSON, Miss. - Ty Washington went 2-for-3 with a solo home-run and an RBI for Mississippi Valley State University in a 7-3 win to the Jackson State University Tigers on Sunday afternoon at Braddy Field.

Jesus Campa earned the win for MVSU. Campa surrendered five hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out five and walking two.
Dylan Whitfield threw one inning of no-run ball for MVSU in relief.
