PINE BLUFF, Ark. – The Mississippi Valley State University volleyball program's back line played its stingiest defensive match by limiting UAPB to a season-low two service aces, but Arkansas-Pine Bluff prevailed in three.

  • Brooklyn Brunt was the headliner in the Natural State, tying her career-high of nine points (3.00 p/s), which came from her team-leading eight kills (2.67 p/s) and Valley's only block (a solo stop), all while posting a 2025-most three digs (1.00 p/s) and hitting 0.263.
 
  • The other personal record to fall came from Ashlynn Hawkins' career-best three assists (1.00 p/s) on top of being one of two Devilettes with five or more digs (5, 1.67 p/s).
 
  • In reference to digs, Carrington Archer was the leader in the clubhouse at a half-dozen (2.00 p/s), topping the club in assist as well with ten (3.33 p/s), and clubbing one of the two service aces alongside Leticia Franco.
 
  • Taylor Wooten is starting to develop into a hot hitter that Coach Wade can ride to a few points per game without the risk of many errors, walloping five kills in ten attempts with only two misfires, a hitting percentage of 0.300.
