STEPHENVILLE, Texas – The Mississippi Valley State University football program faced the tall task of trying to dethrone one of the best teams in the FCS on the road Saturday and showed positive signs despite the final score versus #3 Tarleton.

Delta Devils' Top Performers:
- Both Dakarai Cabell (2.5) and Adonis Jackson (2.0) made numerous stops in the offensive backfield, combining for 4.5 of the eight tackles for loss by the Devils' defense, including four total tackles apiece.
- Marko Jovisic ensured that The Valley would not be shutout of the points column, connecting on a 19-yard field goal in the second quarter.
- Joe Williams only hauled in one reception but he made it count, speeding a career-high 64 yards to the Texans six-yard line before tacking on an additional dozen rushing yards to lead all Delta Devils with 76 all-purpose yards from scrimmage.
- Mekhi Norris was the primary target for the MVSU signal callers, logging three catches for 60 yards (20.0 YPC) with one of those going for 40.
- Josh Brown completed just over half of his pass attempts (10-of-19, 52.6%), averaging a first down per completion over 113 total yards through the air.
