NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Mississippi Valley State University volleyball program won its third consecutive match in which all five sets were necessary, dating back to last season, as Coach Wade's troops defeated SUNO in game two of the Big Easy Roundup.
The last time the Devilettes lost when the contest went the distance was November 5, 2023 on Senior Night opposite Bethune-Cookman.

- Leticia Franco posted her first double-double of the campaign and second of her career, going for a career-high of 23 assists (4.60 p/s) plus 11 digs (2.20 p/s), while tying her personal-best for aces (3, 0.60 p/s).
- Carmella Jones went for a new high watermark regarding points (10.5, 2.10 p/s), kills (9, 1.80 p/s) and blocks (3, 0.60 p/s), co-leading the offense along with Alaya Rhodes' nine kills and identical 0.273 hitting percentage.
- Dashaun Pinesette had easily the best match of her tenure in Itta Bena, posting new personal-records of a team-most dozen digs (2.40 p/s), nine points (1.80 p/s), seven kills (1.40 p/s), and two aces (0.40 p/s).
- Aniyah Moore was the final Devilettes with multiple PRs, doing so in points (9.5, 1.90 p/s), six kills (1.20 p/s), and a whopping seven blocks (1.40 p/s).
- Carrington Archer fell two digs shy of her first collegiate double-double, logging 28 assists (5.60 p/s) and a career-most eight digs (1.60 p/s).
