Itta Bena, Miss. - The Mississippi Valley State men's and women's tennis teams are set to compete in the 2026 Southwestern Athletic Conference Tennis Tournament, scheduled for April 17–19 at City Park Tennis Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The Delta Devils women enter the tournament as the No. 8 seed and will face No. 1 seed Jackson State in the opening round on Friday, April 17 at 9:00 a.m. Valley will look to challenge the top-seeded Tigers as postseason play gets underway.

On the men's side, Mississippi Valley State secured the No. 6 seed and will take on No. 4 seed Southern in quarterfinal action on Friday at 5:30 p.m. The matchup will determine who advances to the semifinal round as the Delta Devils aim to make a strong push in the tournament.

The 2026 SWAC Tennis Tournament will feature three days of competition, culminating with the championship matches on Sunday, April 19. Quarterfinal matches are set to begin Friday at 5:00 p.m. CST, with the conference's top programs competing for the league title in New Orleans.
