Itta Bena, Miss. - Delta Devils' Tom Early and Isreal Ramos recognized for standout offensive performances in conference play.

Mississippi Valley State student-athletes Tom Early and Isreal Ramos earned Southwestern Athletic Conference Baseball Weekly honors following standout performances that helped power the Delta Devils to a strong week on the diamond.

Early was named SWAC Co-Hitter of the Week after turning in an impressive all-around performance at the plate. Across four games, he batted .412 (7-for-17) with eight RBI, while recording at least one hit in every contest. He delivered one of his biggest moments in the series finale against Alcorn State, going 2-for-5 with four RBI, highlighted by a clutch bases-clearing triple. Early also posted two multi-hit games, drew two walks, and added a stolen base as he consistently sparked the Delta Devils offensively throughout the week.

Ramos earned SWAC Co-Newcomer of the Week honors after a breakout performance that played a major role in Mississippi Valley State's series win over Alcorn State. He opened the weekend in dominant fashion, going 3-for-5 with four runs scored, six RBI, and two home runs in the series opener, helping fuel Valley's offensive explosion. Ramos continued to make an impact throughout the week with timely hitting, power production, and a steady presence at the plate. His efforts made him one of the conference's top offensive performers and a key contributor to the Delta Devils' success.

The weekly honors add to the momentum for Mississippi Valley State as the Delta Devils continue conference play.
