MONROE, La. – The Mississippi Valley State University baseball program's late game woes came back to bite them again on Tuesday as a 5-5 game heading into the bottom of the eighth unraveled into an eventual 10-5 setback.

Diamond Devils' Top Performers:
- Stephen Landaz enjoyed a 2-3 evening with a pair of walks and two RBIs as well.
- Chris Soeder reached safely in each of his four plate appearances, singling in his lone official AB in addition to being plunked twice, scoring two times, and walking once.
- Gabe Huelsing put forth his third three-hit contest of the year, going 3-for-5 plus a ribbie.
- Tanner Aoki is now on the doorstep of giving Valley a player with an on-base streak of 20+ games for the third straight season, upping his mark to 19-in-a-row via a third inning single back up the box.
