BIRMINGHAM, AL | The Southwestern Athletic Conference will hold its annual SWAC Football Media Day on Wednesday, July 15, beginning at 10 a.m. CST at the Sheraton-Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama.

All 12 SWAC head football coaches, along with two student-athletes from each member institution, will be present to preview the upcoming 2026 season and meet with media representatives from across the conference footprint.

Mississippi Valley State University will be represented by head football coach Terrell Buckley, quarterback Josh Brown and defensive back Jamari Stokes.

Brown will represent the Delta Devils' offense after stepping into a leadership role at the quarterback position, while Stokes will represent the defensive unit as MVSU prepares for another competitive season in the Southwestern Athletic Conference.

Mississippi Valley State's scheduled Football Media Day appearances are as follows:
10:32–10:42 a.m. — Main Stage
10:50–11:05 a.m. — HBCUGO
1:05–1:15 p.m. — SWAC TV Desk

All scheduled times are Central. 

The conference will also unveil its 2026 SWAC Football Predicted Order of Finish during the event.

SWAC Football Media Day serves as the official kickoff to the conference's football season, providing media members with an opportunity to hear directly from coaches and student-athletes from across the league.
