THE DELTA | Mississippi Valley State University Athletics is calling on Delta Devils alumni, fans, students and supporters to show their Valley pride as MVSU Football heads to Chicago for the 2026 Chicago Football Classic.

The Delta Devils will face the Lincoln University (Pa.) Lions on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at historic Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
The Chicago Football Classic provides Mississippi Valley State University with an opportunity to showcase the university and its student-athletes on one of the nation's most recognizable stages while bringing together alumni, supporters and HBCU football fans for an afternoon centered around athletics, academics and community.

This year's event carries an even greater impact for MVSU, as a portion of ticket proceeds will go back to Mississippi Valley State University to help provide scholarships and create additional opportunities for Valley students.

MVSU alumni and fans are encouraged to fill Soldier Field in green and white and represent the Valley throughout Chicago.
