THE DELTA | Mississippi Valley State University Athletics continues its fall campaign with another action-packed week as the volleyball, cross country and football programs represent the Valley across three states.

MVSU Volleyball Travels to Bulldog Bash
The Mississippi Valley State volleyball team travels to Ruston, Louisiana, for three matches at the Bulldog Bash, hosted by Louisiana Tech.

The Delta Devils open the tournament against Northwestern State at 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10. MVSU will return to the court Friday, Sept. 11, to face host Louisiana Tech at 6:30 p.m. before concluding the weekend against ULM at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12.

Cross Country Heads to Huntsville
The Mississippi Valley State cross country program returns to action Friday, Sept. 11, at the Alabama A&M Invitational in Huntsville, Alabama.

The meet will provide another early-season opportunity for the Delta Devils to build momentum while competing against a strong regional field.

Delta Devils Bound for the Chicago Football Classic
Mississippi Valley State football travels to Chicago for a neutral-site matchup against Lincoln University of Pennsylvania in the Chicago Football Classic.

The Delta Devils and Lions will meet at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, in Chicago, Illinois. The annual event celebrates HBCU football, academic achievement and the rich culture of historically Black colleges and universities on a national stage.
