Mississippi Valley State University Athletics

Antwoine Williams is in his fourth season as the Director of Football Operations, culminating a lengthy career in higher education. In his responsibilities, Williams manages the day-to-day tasks for Coach Vincent Dancy and his staff. 

Prior to his time in the Devil’s Den, Williams served as an Athletic Academic Counselor and Life Skills Coordinator from 2015 to 2018. He came to Itta Bena from Mississippi Delta Community College in nearby Moorhead, where he worked as a Pathfinder for three years. 

In addition to his duties at Valley, Williams is a board member of the Greenwood-Leflore Consolidated School District, and volunteers as a director for the Greenwood Youth Sports Program and the Boys and Girls Club. He is also a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity. 

Williams earned his Associates Degree from Mississippi Delta Community College in 1998 and a Bachelors Degree from Mississippi State in 2001. He is also an alumnus of Valley after earning his Masters in Sports Administration in 2018. 

A native of Greenwood, he lives in hometown and is the father of two sons, Antwoine, Jr. (21) and Amir (14).
