Christopher Browne begins his first season as Offensive Line Coach in 2022 after two seasons as Tackles & Tight Ends Coach at Southern University
Browne was recently announced to the Football Scoop Minority Coaches ‘22 on the rise list. Also, he recently was named to the “Our Coaching Network” ‘22 OL Coach on the rise list.
While at SUBR, Christopher coached FCS & HBCU All-American & First team All-SWAC tight end Ethan Howard. During his time at Southern Both of his starting Offensive Tackles were named to the All-SWAC team. Jatyre Carter his starting Left Tackle was drafted In the ‘22 Draft by the Chicago Bears.
Before Southern, Chris served as the Offensive Line Graduate Assistant under Skip Holtz at Louisiana Tech.
He had a stop as well at Morehouse College for two seasons as Offensive Line Coach where he had HBCU bowl invitee Evan Clay & All-SIAC offensive linemen Jean Cyriaque & Trey Wilson.
Christopher began his collegiate coaching career at Lincoln University Missouri as an Offensive Grad Assistant.
Christopher was a Decorated 2012 Graduate, two-time All-American and three-time All-SWAC selection at Southern University. Christopher received his masters in business at Lincoln University & he is a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated Eta Sigma Chapter.
