Dwyan Luckey is entering his third season coaching the running backs for Mississippi Valley State football. This will be his tenth season coaching in football.
Coach Luckey has been promoted to the Recruiting and Camp Coordinator for the Delta Devil football team.
Luckey comes to MVSU after eight years in coaching, with six years coming at the NCAA Division I and II levels. He served as the running backs coach for Virginia Union in 2017 and Limestone in 2015. In between, he spent two years as a coach for high schools near his hometown of Concord, North Carolina.
In 2014, Luckey was as an offensive assistant at Catawba College. He also served as an offensive graduate assistant for one season at North Carolina A&T State University, and worked stints as a graduate assistant coach and student assistant at Western Carolina University.
Luckey a native of Concord, North Carolina and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management at Western Carolina University.
